You know how everyone gets kinda freaked out when they see a bee? Well, I’m one of those people. Now, I’m extra freaked out whenever I see them, because of what happened at Ryan’s house.
Kyle, Gareth, Ryan, D.J. and I were playing Hide and Seek Tag Soccer. D.J. and I were it. Kyle, Gareth and Ryan came running twards me. I went to go tag them… “BUZZZ!!” I screamed, and ran inside. There was a bee right next to me when I was outside! When I got inside, I took one of my ‘tic-tac BOLD’ mints, and sat down at their table.
“Why the heck did Kelly run inside like that?” I heard Ryan ask.
“I dunno.” answered D.J.
Then, I heard a whimper. After that, a scream. Mom ran outside, and Kyle ran in yelling, “GARETH GOT STUNG BY A HORNET!!!!! GARETH GOT STUNG BY A HORNET!!!!!!”
“Oh my gosh! Is he ok-” I got interupted by Gareth’s screaming.
“Onion! Onion!! ONION!!!!!” he yelped.
Wait a second! I should tell you why he was screaming, “ONION!!” like that. He was sreaming onion because if you put a cut onion on a bee sting, the pain will go away instantly. Pretty convienent, huh? Now, as I was saying…
Mom ran inside with Gareth. He was clutching his lip. I was guessing that he got stung on the lip. As he was doing so, Mom got an onion out of the fridge, and put it on Gareth’s lip. While he held it on his lip, Gareth told us the whole story. Sooner or later, it was time to go to the pool. By the way, the reason why the hornet stung Gareth on the lip is because he was chewing sugar gum, and bees are attracted to sugar!
Later that day, Kyle got stung on the thumb by a Sugar Bee. Those bees don’t hurt. I know that because I got stung by a Sugar Bee before. Bye!
